ANDERS DANIELSEN LIE

Anders Danielsen Lie (born 1 January 1979, Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian actor, musician, and medical doctor. He is the son of actress Tone Danielsen and made his film debut at age 11 in the title role of Herman (1990), for which he won Best Actor at the Paris Premiers Plans Film Festival. After a 16-year hiatus, he was cast by director Joachim Trier in Reprise (2006), beginning a long-term collaboration that produced Trier's "Oslo trilogy." He studied medicine at the University of Oslo (1997–2007) and musicology (2001–2003), and has released the albums This Is Autism (2011) and IDIOSYNCRASY.
